A national retail organization is adding a National Account Manager to its commercial team. This role is responsible for managing high-visibility retail relationships and driving profitable growth across assigned national accounts. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking, relationship management, and analytical execution.

This individual will act as the lead contact for key retail partners, guiding account strategy, identifying growth initiatives, and ensuring strong cross-functional execution internally. Success in this role comes from the ability to build credibility with buyers, understand retail dynamics, and translate insights into measurable revenue results.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Owning day-to-day management of assigned national retail accounts

• Building trusted relationships with buyers and senior decision-makers

• Leading account planning, business reviews, and ongoing performance discussions

• Identifying and executing incremental revenue and margin growth opportunities

• Developing account strategies aligned with broader financial objectives

• Partnering internally to align product, marketing, and forecasting initiatives

• Creating accurate sales forecasts informed by data, trends, and promotional activity

• Preparing and delivering clear, executive-level reporting and presentations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline

• Experience working with large national, Big Box, or Club retail accounts

• Strong command of data analysis, forecasting, and account performance metrics

• Confident communicator with the ability to influence both internally and externally

• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning outcomes

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation tools

• Willingness to travel overnight as business demands

Work Style & Expectations

• Predominantly in-office role with regular collaboration across commercial and leadership teams

• Travel required periodically for customer meetings and internal planning
